Forming & growing disciples of Jesus in miami

Serve the Church

Our Sunday gathering only happen because of the time and energy of our church community, and we’re always looking for more people to serve and lead in these areas. Click on each team to find out more:

Set-up & Tear-down

The Set-up Team serves our church by arriving early on Sunday mornings to set up sound equipment, chairs, and signs.

The Tear-down Team serves Rhythm by taking all of our equipment down and storing it after worship has ended. Both of these teams play a significant role in facilitating our Sunday morning worship space.

Rhythm Kids

Rhythm Kids is the children’s ministry of Rhythm Church. Our vision is to partner with God, parents, and the Rhythm Church community in the spiritual formation of our children and families. Each week we strive for children to be encouraged in their walk with God. We take very seriously our responsibility to care for these kids and do everything in our power to keep them safe, supported, and pointed to Jesus.

Our team members are well-trained, vetted (including rigorous background checks), and passionate about caring for children. Our team is responsible to pray for our ministry and families and to serve once a month. We have a lead teacher in each classroom who leads the Bible story based on pre-planned lessons and related activities. We’d love for you to join us!

First impressions are very important. The Hospitality Team sets the stage for the first impression. We make sure the gathering space is clean, the coffee is drinkable – maybe even delicious – and the bathrooms are stocked. We open doors and give directions and do our best to connect with the people around us. We care about details and we step out of our comfort zones. We do this because we want everyone who comes to Rhythm Church on Sunday to feel welcome and at ease.

Hospitality team members generally serve one Sunday a month.

  • Painting
  • Photography
  • Video
  • Graphic Design
  • Interior Design
  • Writing
  • Creative Thinking
  • Marketing

Tech & Media

The Tech & Media Team is tasked with creating an atmosphere of worship free from distractions so all are better able to engage with God and each other.

Controlling the slides, lighting, and environmental staging, this team serves the church behind-the-scenes to help all encounter God during Sunday morning worship.
