Good theology is not just a system of beliefs but a way of life. It should include both “orthodoxy” (right thinking) and “orthopraxy” (right living). This is why Augustine said that good theology isn’t just true; it also leads you to love God and love others more.
Join us on April 29th from 7:00-9:30 pm in the chapel for Theo Night. The topic is the resurrection of the Son of God. What difference does it make that the Jesus’ resurrection was bodily? How are we to understand our future resurrection as his followers? And does the resurrection have implications for how we live in the city today? Lisa Heath and Keas Keasler will be responding to these questions and more.
After the teaching there will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion. And since theology is always better with a little stimulation, coffee and snacks will be provided. The location is 6565 SW 57th Ave, and please email Lisa Heath if you have any questions.
